Recently, Headway Technology Group Co., Ltd. updated the explosion-proof certification of OceanGuard® Ballast Water Management System (BWMS) with ATEX certificate issued by TÜV SÜD. The upgrade indicates Headway has reached the world's leading level in the industrial design of BWMS components.
The newly upgraded ATEX certification for OceanGuard® BWMS covers Monitoring Unit and EUT Unit, which have passed strict inspections in the laboratories of TÜV SÜD. The inspections proved that the above units can be installed and operate in Non-Cargo Holding Hazardous Location of Zone 1 and above.
The certificate awarding ceremony was held in Headway Industrial Park a few days ago. Ing. Kristof De Gersem, from TÜV SÜD, and representatives of Headway attended the ceremony.
